mouse and keyboard not working

i am having problems finding the cause the mouse and keyboard don't work at the windows Related image install.  so then the seagate hdd was put on a different pc and the installation work with the mouse and keyboard then it was switched back to the main computer and the mouse and keyboard  did not work at the windows install i tried YouTube and google put none of does were helpful. the setup at the bios was set put that wasn't helpful. I maybe missed something put i don't no what if you could help that would be great.

Try a different mouse and keyboard, or try different USB ports?

is it the same mouse and keyboard on BOTH pcs you are using? 

 

have you tried different USB ports?
