How to Open NAT?

Hi forum!

 

So the title says all, I know nothing about networking/routers etc. But I like playing online games :D and my MW2 NAT type is strict and I want it open :/. My router is a Canyon CNP-WF514. I have tried that portforwarding website, but tutorial havent helped me, maybe I did it wrong, but my router menu haven`t had the sections that was shown in tutorial :(.

MW2 is broken due to the servers from IW being down.

It's the same reason that the player counts are broken, don't worry about it.

So there is no way to change NAT type? :( I liked MW2 so much, and the 4D1 is down :( also Punkbuster somehow dont work on my COD4. One more year and my favorite FPS is gone :D

somtimes restarting ur router fixes it. like 99% of routers have that open by deafult

It's most likely open but the servers cannot detect that it is so it'll default to it saying it's closed. You'll be fine for finding games, although there aren't many players.
