My housemate did the exact same thing.

 

He got an email like a week later with a download code.

Clicked the link, entered the code and then linked his steam account (well my steam account because he already had the game).

Oh its an email?? Because that’s signed in to a different email... so I need to check the email I payed with?

email you payed with. They sent mine almost immediately after I payed for my 1070Ti
