Today i bought a Radeon HD 6870 for 30 bucks off craigslist and its working fine except for one or two things. The first hitch is it outputs the image it displays larger than my screen (i have tried to fix this through the Tv's settings there is no fix). I tried to access the Tv's "service mode" but i could not find the method that would work for me (it is an Apex Digital LE24E5 24 inch monitor) i have not attempted the regedit method because it was a solution to underscan but not over scan. i know the proper resolution for it to work since i used the NVIDIA control panel when i had my gtx 645 to fix it (1804x1024). I do understand it is an issue with my TV and im working on getting a good monitor thats better than 60 hrtz.

Are you trying to get the overscan area fixed on the 6870?

From what I remember, the Catalyst Control Panel has a feature that lets you adjust that.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!
