Its weird to work on a system with a new board. After almost ten years of enduring all kinds of gamingviolence the p6t deserves some rest. Trustworthy even under hell-like conditions i can only say " You did well bro " !
The installation brought many challenges, especially the observation that a 3 pin fan socket won't be enough to accomodate a 4 pin fan connector. ofcourse the nearest available location was between the huge coolingfins of the aircooler and the psu.. Removing the bolts of the psu granted enough space use my fat fingers and a pencil! The new board boots quiet, somewhat slower and revealed in the first test a 30% increase in sata speeds ..
