i m using a stick of 8gb ram with h110 mb. now this mb has A1 and B1 channel. can i use B1 lefting A1 empty? does it make any deference in terms of memory speed?

well, you're using a single channel then. there is a little difference, but we're talking about like 2 fps or something (and even that in some games)

nope doesn't really matter... only really starts to matter with motherboard that have 4 ram slots and 2 or more ram sticks installed.
but to be sure read the manual, it should state which one to use.

Current build: Ryzen 7 1700x, asus prime x370-pro, 16gb gskill trident z rgb, asus rog strix gtx 1070 ti, corsair rm650x, nzxt s340 elite, samsung 840 pro 256gb, 1.5tb hdd.

but your choice of having one stick of 8 is actually pretty decent in terms of future proofing and upgradability
