Cloud Server Build

Hi there.

I am looking at building a 3u storage server like the storinator for home data backups, homelab use, and general playing about with. However i cannot seem to find a 3u case with atx psu support and 16+ hdd bays. Hot swap ideally but if not then its not a major problem. It seems like most of the cases available to buy on the market are just super expensive. I dont have a problems with building somthing as half of my home lab setup is diy including my lack rack. Lol. Just some cost effective ideas please. Hardware is not an issue as i have the necessary hardware for this build to hand. Just finding a case seems to be a problem.

two things to note here:

- 3u is a rather odd-ball configuration

- rackmount cases just *are* expensive.

Silverstone and Rosewill will be your best options for a rackmount case but is designed for standard parts like ATX power supplies, still not all that cheap though but far less than Supermicro cases that use redundant power supplies.
