Depends on quite a lot. I’d go for a used 2080 or 1080ti. 

 

I had to get a 8700k to enjoy game play without my 4790k hindering that. 

Havent render any video with it yet to compare but hoping to this weekend.

Hey my GPU recently broke and I'm looking to get new one. I stream, play VR and do 3D art. I have 600 dollars now and could by a RTX 2070 or I could wait and buy a RTX 2080. Should I buy the 2070 bc I dont see much of a reason to spend more but I want a someone more knowledgeable than me to let me know if there is a better or cheaper option. I will also be combining what ever card i get with a new 2700 or 8700 dont know which would better suit me needs of game preference (1440p 120Hz at ultra) and 3D workload.

i'd recommend a 8700 for the 120hz but 2700 for streamer, depends on whats more important for you, and as much horsepower as you can for VR, so 2080.
