Generally a PC will shut down for a few reasons without BSOD, here are the 2 most common.

A) CPU Overheating and reaching TJ Max and it shuts down to thermally protect it.

B) Power supply issues.

I did replace the thermal paste for my cpu heatsink, but I don't know if that's the cause. The power supply feels cool so I don't think it's that either. I have started it back up and see what happens

I don't think he means the power supply is overheating as well, although possible, generally its a problem with the actual voltage delivered. Perhaps it had briefly cut out or such, suggesting the PSU is failing.

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.

Hot to the touch is perfectly normal for most things that have passively cooled heatsinks especially the chipset, its unlikely to be the problem.

That could again suggest the PSU is not delivering enough power to run the CD drive.  Does it happen when the CD spins up?

I'd definitely check the CPU heatsink as it looks like one of the securing pins isn't facing the right direction.  Its possible when putting those Intel heatsinks back on to not properly push the brackets back through the motherboard correctly and then it wont be making even contact with the CPU.

The CD was a game, I was able to start it up, and even install it earlier. I was able to create a new profile and play some of the tutorial but it just randomly shuts off.

Good to hear.

Not sure what you meant about tightening them, but the little clips can be iffy once you remove them as the two parts do not close properly after being pushed open by the pins for any length of time.  Generally before re-fitting you have to squeeze them all together again then make absolutely sure they go through the holes in the motherboard as they can open up again while trying to align the heatsink.

This is why generally its recommended to install stock heatsinks before fitting the motherboard, not that I personally ever do. ;)  I mean why make it easy for myself, lol.
