Microstutter on rx590

guys, i have an rx590 with an r5 2600x and 16gb of 3200mhz corsair rgb ram

i have microstutter in fortnite and pubg on low settings. however i have no problems whatsoever on black ops 4 maxed out settings.

how can i fix this? drivers are updated

what happens with the microstutter at higher settings? 

 

does it get worse or go away? 

 

and what is the resolution of the monitor? is it possible that it isn't keeping up with the GPU and its fps output?

microstutter at higher settings still same or even worse. but as i said on bo4, despite the settings. no microstutter.

freesync on the monitor? and is the FPS higher than the 75hz you have? if so that could be somewhat of the issue, highly doubt it but it might be. however, it could just be the 590... i am not well educated on the 590 yet as its rather new and i haven't read much about it yet.

you should use something like radeon overlay or msi afterburner and see what is causing them. Guessing game will take you nowhere.

freesync enabled yes. fps is about 200 but drops to like 70 when doing certain things

isn't freesync meant to limit the FPS output to whatever the monitor rate is?

idk, il try to turn it off, but in bo4 its very smooth, 200fps max settings

yeah I'd turn off freesync, it sounds like your monitor, is not playing well in the sandbox.

specifically using the sapphire nitro+ version if that makes any difference

that epic stutter is because the GPU Trying to catch up from low to epic. the low settings, i saw like NO stutter.

yeah i looked back at it and on video its not noticable, but you can see the fps dips below 100 then goes back up and repeats. also the stutter on epic is there even after like 10 minutes

well epic may just be tanking the gpu. however, the fps drops to below 100 is from moving around and rendering new stuff.

the stutter on low might not be visible but i can definitly feel it when playing
