Hi all, so I have a used PC from my friend, who sold it to me for ~$200 usd. I'll list the specs below. Basically it's a mini itx build and I want to transfer some of it into an atx case, as well as clean and add a few new parts(like hard drive for example). Thoughts on the new build? Is there anything else I should bother upgrading?

Used PC:

 New PC:

There's duct tape on the Corsair H80i and my friend doesn't know why it's there so I decided to get another AIO just incase this one leaks, in the hope that I can OC the 3570k to something around 4.4ghz

I would recommend against a 120/140mm AIO, you can get a better air cooler for the same price. I have a 3570K and they really don't require a lot of cooling. Something like a hyper 212 Evo or a Pure rock slim should do the trick. Other than that, it looks pretty good. Definitely got an insane deal.

My Build, v2.1 --- CPU: i7-8700K @ 5.2GHz/1.288v || MoBo: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming || RAM: 4x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 2666 14-14-14-33 || Cooler: Custom Loop || GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black, on water || PSU: EVGA G2 850W || Case: Corsair 450D || SSD: 850 Evo 250GB, Intel 660p 2TB || Storage: WD Blue 2TB || G502 & Glorious PCGR Fully Custom 80% Keyboard || MX34VQ, PG278Q, PB278Q

Audio --- Headphones: Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX || Amp: Schiit Audio Magni 3 || DAC: Schiit Audio Modi 3 || Mic: Blue Yeti

My Car --- 2006 Mustang GT || 5-speed || BBK LTs, O/R X, MBRP Cat-back || BBK Lowering Springs, LCAs || 2007 GT500 wheels w/ 245s/285s

The Experiment --- CPU: i5-3570K @ 4.0 GHz || MoBo: Asus P8Z77-V LK || RAM: 16GB Corsair 1600 4x4 || Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo || GPUs: Asus GTX 750 Ti, || PSU: Corsair TX750M Gold || Case: Thermaltake Core G21 TG || SSD: 840 Pro 128GB || HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

R.I.P. Asus X99-A motherboard, April 2016 - October 2018, may you rest in peace. 5820K, if I ever buy you a new board, it'll be a good one.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why i swapped the h80i for the ml240l, even though the h80i has 2 fans. Apparently he got an insane deal too, he paid $600 for this brand new in 2015.

Oh my bad lol I thought that said ML120L. In that case you have a majorly overkill cooler lol you should enjoy some low temps and good overclocks. You should be fine on RAM, but you can always throw another 8GB in if you need it, depends on what games you play. Yeah it looks pretty good honestly.

He has not overclocked the CPU before and I don't dare use this PC with this cooler, especially with the sketchy duct tape on it. I don't know if this overclocks well, so just in case it's a bad overclocker I got a 240mm aio so i can reach decent clocks.

it only has 2 slots and both of them are used tho, i would have to sell the 2 sticks of 4gb and get 2 sticks of 8. I think 8gb should be enough for maybe gta v on medium-high. I'll upgrade it to 16 in the future along with the gpu
