I kinda need some help...

OK so I need some help. My gaming setup is down in my basement. every time i touch a metal component of my computer or like the back of my monitor where the plays are and the power strip is on it shocks me. not like a zaps but like a continuous current. it is on concreate and even with the PSU off i still get shocked though the thumb screws and stuff. HELP ASAP

Buy an earthing mat and stand on it before u touch the back, that way u wont get a shock

LOL that would work but like just outta habbit ill touch the buttom of my mic to move it ( blue yeit) and itll shock me

if ur getting a shock them something around u isnt earthed correctly.

Phaps the earth on the outlet itself isnt correctly working.

DON'T do it yourself u could really get hurt.

 

You need an electrician to come in and find the issue, they will be trained for this sort of thing.

I earth my PC the cheap way by using any metal nail and plant it on the very botom corner concrete wall or concrete floor where it won't be a trip hazard, and any single solid copper core cable, srip both end and bent the copper core to shaped like a hook then hooked it between the nail and any hooking point on the back of the PC case. Done it by myself for $0.00

 

Warning! If you want to do this, make sure you completely unplug all the power cables from your wall outlets!

 

Before I did this, I'm also shocked by my PC like you, then after I earth my PC that way, it's gone, never shock me again..
