I have recently encountered something really weird happening with my pc but for you guys to understand I need to give the backstory. Please read the whole thing need help urgently:

I have two pc's one for my mums place and one for my dads. Both systems needed a gpu upgrade from their humble quadro 600's.So I went out and bought 2 rx570's An ASUS ROG RX570 and a Saphire Nitro RX570.(Note both pc's are not the same)Both of these cards work because i tested them in system 1 but when i put them into system 2 neither of them work.Do you guys have any clue as to what the problem maybe. The motherboard where the gpu's dont work is a P97X79 pro with an I7 3930k.The pc worked with quardo 600 before and after i have switched it out.I have made sure:

The right power is connected

The right video output is pluged in

The card sits correctly in the PCI-E slot.

I would really appreciate any help thxs

Does your motherboard have a code or any LEDs on? (I know that might be a stretch for X79 but worth asking). It's possible there is dust/debris in the PCIe slot. Also, can you list the entire PC's specs?

i would say it could be a pcie issue since the quadro is pcie 2.0 and the 570s are pcie 3.0, but those should be backwards compatible and u should just be losing out on pure speed. so i'm not sure if that could be an issue.

play around in your bios. disable integrated graphics and see if you can mess with anything pcie wise.

my only other idea is the power supply or the cables aren't good enough for the card itself.
