heatpipe and cable

hey guys, my pcie power cable is touching the gpu heatpipe, will this damage the cable? 

why are the power connectors on gpus placed like this. where else do i route this cable?

no, heatpipes dont get very hot. If its hot to the touch, then mabye.

love your Nitro+ SE tho, the blue+silver is really nice.

It's fine. The heat pipes themselves dont get SUPER hot

im just worried the cabled might burn out and cause some problems, perhaps kill something in my system. i touched the heatpipes and they are quite hot
