Adaptive sync on Nvidia

So i found information about driver 417.01 hidden feature. I can't confirm it by myself, because i don't have any compatible gsync monitor. Can someone check it out?

I have doubts, because it is only one sourse of this information.

What exactly is the hidden feature you're trying to show? I don't understand what your point is.

 

EDIT: Figured I might as well clear this up, since I see where you may be coming from now. That article is garbage. "Adaptive sync" is just a name for that whole sector of technology, whether it be G-Sync or FreeSync. Adaptive sync is a term that could be used for both. It's simply defining G-Sync.

adaptive-sync, freesync or vesa adaptive sync option on nvidia control panel with gsync configuration.

The source claims that NVIDIA driver version 471.01 enables usage of adaptive sync (which is implemented as FreeSync on AMD's side).

 

I'd call BS though, until someone else sees this and actually tests it.

I think it's dont work for now. The title of Gsync options says Gsync and Adaptive-sync configuration, but i don't see any sign of options to enable it.

Maybe we will recive support in a future?

 

P.S. Screenshot still need a confirmation...
