According to the manual, it should only have nine pins. But considering an eBay posting has the motherboard with 10 pins, I'm going to claim this is a hallmark of ECS quality.

In any case, see if the top-left pin (from the picture's point of view) has a PCB trace at all going to or from it. If it doesn't, snap it off. Now you have a 9-pin USB header. One of the pins in a USB header literally is for keying the header, so you shouldn't lose functionality.

One of my old PCs has a 10 pin usb header on the motherboard and none of the integrated USBs work. Does anyone know where I can find a 10 pin usb to 9 pin usb adapter?

10-pin USB header? Doesn't sound right. What year PC are we talking about? Because USB 2.0 header has always been a 9-pin connector on the board and IIRC USB 1.1 used same connector, if they even had headers for USB 1.1.

What motherboard is this? It should say somewhere on the board itself.

It says USB 3 under it

It may be a proprietary connector, judging by the color of the PCB, it's an old board.  Manufacturers really liked using proprietary internal connectors in those days.

If you go to page 28 it will explane the header but it does not tell you anything about how to connect it.
