Motherboard bottleneck RAM?

So I paired an Asus ROG Strix H270F gaming motherboard with Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8gb) and I recently found out that the H270f only supports DDR4 2133/2400 RAM. The Corsair Vengeance is 3200mhz  so will the motherboard prevent my ram from operating at full potential?

It should be fine. H270 motherboard support ram overclocking. 

Your CPU is out of date. i3-8100 has the same performance and is half the price.

Pessimistic way to put it because i5 8400 also has the same performance, so no need to upgrade yet
