Task Manager Question

Hi,

This probably sounds like a bad question but when you disable something in the task manager when you reboot your computer will it turn back on?

My PC (Big Blue)

Cpu- Amd Fx 6300

Gpu- GTX 960 4gb

Motherboard- Asus M5A97 plus

Ram- Hyper X Fury 8gb 1866

PSU- EVGA 600b

HDD- WB Blue

SSD- MX Crucial 250gb 

Case- NZXT s340 Black/Blue

I think you mean device manager? Depends what you're disabling, sometimes you can just re-enable it.

 

Edit - If its a service or a startup program, yes you can re-enable it.

Task manager. Where you can disable tasks. Aka end various processes?

It depends on what you disable.

 

If you go to the Startup tab on Windows 10, you can change what starts up with your system. For most things, if they're not disabled on startup, they will automatically start with a reboot.

It depends on what triggers them, but in general yes they will turn back on after a reboot. 

If you want them not to turn back on, look under services and see which one it could be. You can disable them.
