You can look into ASRock for something cheaper, but I would not do it. I strongly believe that you should get a decent motherboard for sush a setup.

I also made a mistake, I meant the Z270. 

And for about $160 you won't find anything better.

If you go with the 8400 then you won't need an aftermarket/third-party cooler. You could if you want but it's completely optional.

This looks good. I'd swap MX500 for a 850 evo and my personal opinion, a WD drive instead of Seagate (don't quote me on this). I'd invest a bit extra for a 6GB card.
