customized internet laptops?

I am looking to purchase a gaming laptop. Something I can play as well as compose correspondence.  I am looking at some of the prices for the in-house models from what I can tell are the bigger websites. My question, are they worth it. I know you get what you pay for but will the ibuypower chimera stand up or just roast my hands. Please let me know your thoughts.  Thank you.

Chimeras are clevo barebones. what exactly?

That PA71HS is a clevo but it is too thin for a gtx1070 and it needs LM for having good temperatures.

that tracer is a quanta barebone and I don't know reviews about that model
