hi, i dont know anything about power supply!

whats up, i plan to buy this eGPU setup for my MacBook so i can play FPS games... my plan was to spend as little as i can this christmas and worry about upgrading my graphics later on when i have more money. the box i was planning to buy is this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&O=&Q=&ap=y&c3api=1876%2C{creative}%2C{keyword}&is=REG&m=Y&sku=1286359  i have no idea if this comes with its own power brick, but if it doesnt, id need to buy one thats compatible! can someone help?

yes, it does come with one, but that supplies only 60W (12V x 5A) so not sufficient even for low end cards. Do the games you want to run even support MacOS?

i downloaded Windows 10 via bootcamp software! and what kind of wattage would i need for a 60-80$ graphics card? i don't need anything fancy i just want to play on low settings and get decent FPS

yeah ok then

depends on how old you go. there's no general anwers - sth like the GT1030 would work but will give you not a very good experience - though this would be probably the most appropriate for a mobile cpu if buying the gpu new. On older cards, dunno whats available right now - you have to look yourself what you can find on ebay craigslist and whatever platform is available. But It will be hard to find sth with power that uses not that much juice
