Favourite mousepad?

Dim

I use a Razer Sphex on my desktop, it's super thin (almost like a sticker) hard mousepad. I really wouldn't want to use any other hard mousepad now as I really hate the high edges on them.

For my laptop I have a Razer Kabuto cloth mousepad that doubles as a protective layer between the screen and keyboard during transit and also as a pretty damn good cleaning cloth.

I'm cheap, but I can get whatever color/size/pattern I want and it has no thickness.

I've tried 2 different brands, they wear out eventually but you can get a sheet that gives you aprox. 3 large surfaces.

they tend to grip more than a hard mousepad, but less than a cloth mousepad.

Will work for electronic components and parts

How do you guys use hard mouse mats, for me they always wear out too fast and scratch the feet of my mice, i much prefer super soft cloth on my mouse mats as you can clean them, they last longer and feel nice to run your mouse over, btw using a hard mouse mat you can get a desk made from the same material (its surprisingly very cheap)

I'm still using one I got with my very old Alienware. It makes me cry every time I see it, but its either that or the one that came in the WoW Cataclysm collectors edition.... :/

  • Graphite 600T White
  • P8Z77-V Pro
  • H70 cooled i5 3570k - 4.8ghz
  • Palit GTX660ti Jetstream - 2GB
  • 16GB Corsair PC3 - 1600MHz
  • Intel 120GB SSD
  • 1TB + 500GB HDD
  • Corsair CX 750w 80+ Bronze
  • Logitech G9x <3
  • Logitech G19 - Never worked properly
  • A place to store one DVD or CD - I'm yet to find a use for it
  • Many fans - Coolermaster and Corsair
  • Minuscule amount of dust - To be removed

Curently using a Razer goliathus extended xl speed edition and it is really nice. It feels nice to have the extra cushioning on the keyboard hand also. But frankly my old and trustworthy Func 1030 (have had it for about 8 years) is the best traction and control but it gets a little to hard on my hands. The QcK isn't bad either but it is kind of small, have yet to try their thicker mousepads.

Love my Puretrak Stealth. Its really durable, just the right amount of depth, great feel, never slips and works great with heavy mice! it also has a pattern so fine it cant be see without a light shining directly onto it which helps the laser track. its really just awesome

I've tried a lot of pads from plastic to aluminum to glass etc. My personal all time favourite is the the Razer Goliathus control edition.
I like my Extended Speed Edition except it's a little too long for my desk,

SteelSeries 4HD. It's a hard mouse pad and It's very clean and slippery. Touch your mouse and it slides all the off the edge :d
