Display Shifted to the right.

I unplugged my second screen to try it in a a vertical orientation. I changed my mind before plugging it in again. So I put my monitor back horrizontly again, plugged it in and now the picture is shifted to the right. I've tried everything but it wont go right again. Also it has no buttons for menus on it.

Have you tried turning your computer off and on again?

usually in monitor settings, directly from monitor controls you are able to adjust this.

There are no controls on the monitor. Just a power button.

really? what monitor is that?

Change resolution inside windows?

It's a Samsung SyncMaster SA10

 

I've set it to its native resolution in Windows.

Have you tried disconnecting the monitor from power for a few seconds?

Just tried it. Made no difference.

Just fixed it. Turns out if you hold the power button for ten seconds in auto adjusts.
