Display won't fit in my monitor

katoptrys

So for the third time in a month, Windows 10 ignores my "Pause all Updates" and updates, doing whatever it wants. Every damn time it updates, it uninstalls my drivers and messes up my computer. Only this time it's worse.

My monitor is a Monitor/TV I got a few years ago, which is supposed to be able to run 1080p although for some dumb reason native resolution is 720p. I spent like 3 weeks trying to get the display to work on 1080p properly, finally managed by setting the display's mode to Panorama and it just worked alone.

But my computer updated, DELETED MY NVIDIA DRIVERS, and upon reinstalling, nothing I do on the Nvidia Control Panel does absolutely anything.

How the hell do I get the display to fit the monitor again? The resize makes the display go into a weird resolution, and everything looks blocky and horrible. I DO NOT WANT TO RUN IT LIKE THAT. I want to be able to run it at 1080p like I was before Windows 10 imposed on me again.

The blocky windows thing is becaue its using windows default drivers probably because your drivers arent being recognized. Boot into safe mode and DDU the drivers nvidia drivers. Then reinstall. This fixed it for me when I had a simmilar problem.
