Windows says to activate them but i have already done it

Hey guys. I build my pc today and activated windows with a windows key from kinguin.net . Now i have a weird text at the bottom of the screen that says "Activate the windows. Go to activation settings of Windows" . whats wrong?

What does it say when you go the the activation settings page?

The key may have been rejected.

I have never dealt with them, but they claim to have buyer protection.

My guess is you'll need to be ready to prove the key does not work. Take screenshots of the error and contact them.

I would get a refund and use another source.

Wait... did you try activation via phone? Some posts here say that will work when I searched the forum.

It should be an option if you select troubleshoot on the activation screen. Though my suspicions tell me the key has been used before and you should seek recourse from the vendor. If they are reputable, they should re-issue a key or refund you.

Then do as it says... If it doesn't work then buy a legitimate windows key.

Buying a cheap key from Kinguin which may be stolen is never a good idea.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

I called both number and none of them is excists. Whats wrong?
