GTX 1080TI gives me low fps on league of legends

HI

this may seem a pretty stupid post but i'm having a really hard time with stuttering on league of legends i've changed to very low setting, very high, capped, uncapped, maximum performance on gforce control panel, trying to find kboost on precisionX and getting no results. i mean i don't expect stupid fps on a horribly optimized game but i want no stuttering

setup:

Mobo Z170x-gaming 7

cpu: i5 6500 (4.5Ghz)
ssd: hyper x 240gb

gpu: gtx1080ti msi

thanks everyone

reinstall gpu drivers?

"May your frame rates be high and your temperatures low"

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

Hmmm, open up task manager whilst LoL is running and monitor as to of what resources the game is using of the most, such as the RAM, CPU and so forth.

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again

make sure there are no overclocks and also make sure that the gpu is well seated in the pci slot. sometimes the connections don't connect. ;)

every other game works perfectly tomb raider at 4k getting 49-60 fps on max settings i'm pretty sure it's a league of legends problem

If everything else works correctly, then its probably just the way that LoL handles RAM or something like that.

You could always try to reinstall it as @Jasun mentioned.

Have you tried locking the FPS to a lower rate and enabling things like V-Sync?

Sluggish aside, does it fix it though? If it does, the stuttering may signify a CPU bottleneck. Check task manager.

That might be a silly question but is your Intel HD Graphics Chip enabled? I had a problem several years ago where a game didn't use the graphics card but defaulted to the grrapics processor of the cpu.

thats league of legends problem not ur card, its same for all of us (i mean GTX 10 series, high end gpus)
i have ROG Poseidon 1080ti and got 1070 Gaming X MSI, both low fps, all my friends who just bought new PC (like 1080 or 1080ti or 1070) all have low fps than their previous GPU in LoL, LoL isnt optimised for these GPUs.
