Ryzen Ram

Ive just upgraded to a ryzen system and having worries about the ram problems it has been having. I have a single 8gb stick in, 2400mhz and in the bios it says so, 2400mhz. Cpuz reads 1197.6

 

Im confused hahah

don't worry the pc displays the speed at 1/2 what it runs at.

Ahh, i read that but they said that only applies in dual channel. mine is a single stick. I gathered it was fine, everything seems fine lol xD

DDR: Double Data Rate. Take the rating, divide by 2 and that is approximate of how your PC will read it. You'll get the word occasional rounds up or down, but generally withing a few MHz.
