Help me with my monitor

I'm looking for at least 144hz for 1080p or 1440p. I'm not sure if I care about IPS vs TN at all, but an IPS would be nice. G-Sync would also be nice if it's worth the price point. I don't care what size/curve/widescreen format. I'm willing to fork over $800 to $1,000 for a monitor only if it's justified by what I get. If there's anything under $600, that would be more preferable. But I want to know that this monitor will last and provide a very enjoyable experience, especially since my graphics card is useless without a good monitor. I'm getting a GTX 1070 for 1080p ultra 144hz or a GTX 1080 for 1440p ultra 144hz, depending on what monitor I decide on. My budget can fit either.
