DYGaming

Hey guys, Im looking for a headset and im not sure what to buy.

If you guys can please do recommend a headset and tell me why i should get it.

Thinking of g633 or man o war from razer.

Requirements:

Around $100-120

Good Build Quality

Good Mic

Doesn't have to be wireless

Brands from - Razer, Corsair, CM, Logitech, SteelSeries (Reason: others not available in my country)

Don't need to be transportable/mobile

Produce good sound

My go to headset is the HyperX Cloud they are comfy and sound better than the majority of gaming headset and a decent microphone. They aren't too expensive either especially the first version.

If you don't mind going the extra mile and have both incredible sound and microphone plus huge comfort you can pair a Beyerdynamic DT770 with a Modmic which is my favourite combo.

The G633 is good, though i would test different headsets at a a local store to make sure you find something that fits you. I'd personally steer away from Razer headsets, due to sound quality and general build quality. Definitely consider a corsair void, Logitech g633 or hyperx cloud 1/2. Just make sure you test it on your head before buying

I've heard good things about the Steelseries Arctis series. Are they any good?

They're supposed to be great, though I haven't tried them myself. Definitely look up some reviews if youre interested in them

They are good, the best SS headset out there (sounds like TAD300 but closed back version) but i would still pick the HyperX Cloud 1 or just go with a proper headphone + boompro/modmic...
