Using 40inch samsung ku6300/7o00 as monitor

I am thinking of using most likely samsung 40ku7000 as a big 4k monitor for my pc.I will be buying most likely from amazon.I will also be upgrading my gpu from a gtx 960 to either a 1070 or 1080 next month.I like that this is an easier way of getting hdcp2.2 over hdmi2.0 since i will also buy a ultrahd blu-ray player for it.Any one else use a ku6300/7000 as a pc monitor?
