Gtx 1070 or 1060 6gb

Is the 1070 worth the extra 150 pounds and would it be better for editing and recording gameplay and doing other heavy work or should i just get the 1060 6gb i plan on doing 1440p gaming and 4k editing i currently dont have a gpu in my system

For 1440p gaming, a GTX 1070.
