Looking for good second monitor

So I've been searching for a new monitor to put on my setup and have been wondering what to get. I really want either a 144Hz or 1440p, but the two together is far too expensive. Should I just get the same monitor I have now (Asus VS247H-P 23.6" 1920x1080) or just buy a new, better, bigger one?

Depends on what you want to do with the second monitor. If you want to game on both monitor then get the same one. If not get whatever best fits your budget
