My new g403 wireless gaming mouse isn't working

Just bought my new gaming mouse. I have the wire plugged in but it's not working does it need to charge. If so what cable do I need to do it and should the switch on the bottom Ben green or red?

The switch on the bottom is green when it is on. It should have come with the required charging cable in the box. Being fresh out of the box it may need to charge for a bit.
