So, there is a search engine and there are porn gifs.

The "problem" is that the search engine is not cencored and people can actually find what they are looking for?

There are plenty of things you could blame apple for, but this? Dear god. Imagine they would censor it. People would go all like "omg, apple decides on what i can find and shows me half eaten apples whenever i look for oranges!".

The problem is that it shows things people aren't looking for. According to some posts (I can't validate it myself), searching for Comcast brings up nazi flags. Searching for "huge" or "large" brings up porn.

Apple has always been very against porn and other indecent material in their apps, and now they got a first party app actively suggesting it. There is a very big difference between letting people post whatever they want, and showing my little pony porn as soon as someone searches for "my little pony".

Not suggesting porn when people are doing non-porn related searches is not censorship.

I love porn, but there is a time and place for it. Showing it when someone is making a harmless search for a huge animated picture from a cartoon for children is not the right time or place (unless some particular keywords are used).
