Does Diamond Multimedia make good GPUs?

orangecat

I used to have a old Diamond Stealth AGP card back in the day and boy was it fast but i haven't heard anybody mention them even once since I owned a ATI card. Since I haven't heard anything i can only assume their cars are average quality and most likely reference cards.

Haven't heard much about them, I would recommend looking up some reviews of their products, like on newegg if they have any.

They're expensive (or so I seen on their Facebook page). I personally wouldn't buy Diamond Multimedia GPU and would rather get something from ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI.

Why buy mainstream cards? Because they sell much more of them, and they can keep margins low and have quality on a level.

Obviously it depends on a cooler, but mostly its true.

I only ever see them being sold at Bestbuy or Futureshop for high mark ups. I wouldn't buy them.
