Intel NUC I5RYH good for Steam In-Home?

Hi guys, so I got a NUC yesterday and it's an awesome piece of hardware. I've put all the essentials on, Chrome, Anti-Beacon for W10, Steam and all the drivers I'll need. The one question I have is will this be able to handle Steam Streaming from my main rig (I5 3570k OC to 4Ghz, GTX 960 4gb, 16gb Kingston 1866.) ? I've seen nothing but yes on other forums but of course, I value all of your opinions as well and what your experiences with your own NUCs are. Are you wondering what the kicker is? I'm an Australian with 6.5mbps down 1 up, so I think there's going to be some serious Ethernet wiring going on.

It kind of depends. Your NUCs hardware is powerful enough but it will also depend on your router.


-Is it going to be using wireless or etherent?

-If wireless, are there any other devices that will be fighting for bandwith?

-What kind of settings and resolutions do you plan on running?

 

1080p or even 1440p streaming should be no problem. 4K might be a bit of an issue but your main system won't be reaching that res.
