Which laptop is better?

Things I would use the laptop for:

 

Web usage (Chrome)

Office apps (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)

Adobe apps (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere)

Games (CS:S, CS:GO, GTA IV etc.)

The real drag on the system in both cases is going to be the mechanical drive in either one. If you have a desktop already it might be better to go for a SSD of a much smaller capacity for better performance.

 

That being said I'd go with the dell on pure specs. It should be able to run the games you want fine, and the Skylake processor is going to be better in the long run. IMHO.
