Planning on a new build

Cupcakeking

Hey all,

So my current PC is beginning to show its age and as I've saved up some money I though I may as well upgrade, however my knowledge of components isn't that great so I've come to these forums for help. I've got a budget of £1500 and no real preferences to what type of components I get. i.e. intel or amd.

You will have to give more details about what you want.

What do you have now?

As Tim3Shift3r already said: what are you going to do with it? Gaming? Editing?

I am sure some of us are wanting to help, but if you don't give details, we can't help...

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

Sorry, to clarify, yeah it's going to be mainly used for gaming. And right now I've got a Radeon 5550 and an Intel Pentium G850

I know you've given some usage information which is great, but have you given any thought to other requirements?

Noise/Space/Future Upgrades that kind of thing.

I've just spec'd a rig for someone at £800 and switching the graphics card around (he went 7770 as not a massive gamer) it might provide a similar solution for you.

£1500 is a good budget and it gives you some room to expand your requirements.
