I would stick with the kraken X61 honestly, it has the the lowest temperatures in most cases.

In all honesty I'd probably just get a monster air cooler, they can cool just as well as most high end AIO's but aren't as loud. Not having a pump as they do.

That is true but a cooler such as the noctua(largest one) puts quite a bit of stress on your motherboard, from my experience the kraken x61 is pretty quiet for an AIO. But in conclusion this completely subjective, there won't be that much of a difference in temperatures.

Hey what's your problem? I'm actually building this.

Ya I've considered going to a cheaper mobo such as the X99-A. I don't NEED the Rampage V, I just really like the color scheme and all the features it has.

Originally this was an 8 core build but I decided that was overkill so now it's a 6 core. I carried the board over. I was also looking at an X99-E WS but I was steered away from it. Buying a $500 mobo isn't out of character for me. I've had a Rampage III, my current Maximus IV extreme, and now I want the RVE. Just 'cuzz really. That's the purpose of this whole computer, infact. Just 'cuzz.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
