Never done that on personal systems, unless it's an OEM PC bloated with crapware or Windows hated it self and decided to give up (Happened quite often at my aunts PC)  -_-

Watch out, there might be ninjas out there

Only when I completely change my computer, like motherboard or when my OS gets rekt. I've had had it get rekt a few times from power outages, not much of an issue now.

true that!

...i bloat my systems but keep 'em running...my 'production win 7 sys' saw the change of 3 motherboards, graphic vendors in green and red; and the internal folder, cache and arraystructure is cancerlike...but still performant..

...but some machines i get / got on my workbench are/were infected ...i 'cure' those just under pressed demand of the owner...my 'standard' solution is a quite nice and fine reinstall; cause you just don't know how deep dug in the infection really is...

This is an alpha...this is not a beta. Yeah...and we're running it on production ! [LinusTech & SlickPC]   ~    More Power Than All the Computers in 1999! [Our Servers ^^]

Something in between 6-12 months.

It is my way of cleaning up the system. I don't believe in uninstalling stuff, because it always leaves crap behind. Especially when upgrading to other components, I reinstall right away to prevent driver issues.

I do it whenever I feel like I've installed and uninstalled too much crap on my machine. I would say at least once every 3-6 months.

Never. My shits either clean or i spend days fixing it. Not even when I changed mobos. Just removed old mobo drivers and reinstalled new ones. Maybe because I'm not using an OEM or whatever version of windows.. I just pirate my operating systems and use generic keys. So yeah, I never reinstall my OS. Everything can be fixed.

I am whatever I am.
