Need Advice

Okay, I have a spare system which I want to give to my mom (She is running a P4 still)

GA-M61SME-S2

AMD 3800+ 2.2Ghz I think

2Gb DDR2 Corsair XMS2 (1Gb x2)

XFX GeForce 8800 GT (Will put a GT 210 1gb in)

Will be buying a PSU

Seagate 80Gb (Backup storage)

Western Digital Black 80Gb (Boot drive)

But I also have a AMD 555 CPU in its box, so should I use the 555 which is better but than I will have to buy a new motherboard (MSI 760GM-P23) and I have DDR3 ram for it (2gb x2 1333Mhz).

She uses her pc for Facebook, E-mail, Family tree etc basic stuff. She will be using XP not 7 since I don't want to teach her to use a new OS.

The 555 ish heaps and bounds better than the 3800+. For the motherboard you don't seem to need to upgrade. Im sorry a reply took so long.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)
