Country: Canada, British Columbia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: planet coaster and planet zoo

Other details I'm looking to build my first Pc. Want to use to play planet coaster and planet zoo. I don't know where to start and what to get for the games to run smoothly.

Are you including monitor and other peripherals in that budget ?

They aren't massively demanding games. 

 

Something like this would be a good start. And give you some upgrade-ability down the line should you need it.

Depending on when you want to build it maybe worth waiting until AMD announce their new cards in a few weeks and Nvidia release a 3060 (sometime early next year probably)

 

New ryzen chips are due to be released in days - you maybe able to pick up their similar tier for a similar price to the above or pick up the older one for a discount a few weeks after the launch of the new one
