Motherboard and cpu compatibility

I'm looking to upgrade my cpu and motherboard and know the cpu fits the socket but not sure about the bios. If the bios doesn't is there a way to make it compatible? The motherboard is Gigabyte B450M DS3H AMD Socket AM4 Motherboard and the cpu is a ryzen 5 3600. Thanks in advance ☺

For the most part 

Most b450 boards ship with the new bios 

If it didn't ask the vendor / any computer store to update the bios for you 

But if you don't have this board 

Don't get it , it's Terrible 

Get something like a pro 4 and that will be better. 

Edit : also MAX series boards from msi support zen 3 our of the box 

Like the tomahawk max or the mortar max.
