So i've got a friend that needs some help

Howdy, fellow tech geeks!
I've got a friend that's looking to build a Desktop computer and asked me if i would know what components to get for it to be able to render short 3D animations in not (and i quote) "4 days", as i'm kind of new on choosing components, i would like to get some ideas from you all.

Budget (including currency):  2500US$

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: As far as i know this will be mainly used for 3D design and 3D Video animation and rendering, as well as some heavy gaming; the main software used will be cinema4D and Adobe Afx

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

There is no existing parts, since they're upgrading from an old laptop with an i3 and 4Gigs of RAM, however a specific feature this would require is a big SSD drive and an even bigger HDD

I hope i can get some replies to this, and thanks in advance! ^^
