16gb of 2666mhz VS 8gb of 3200mhz RAM

I was planning to upgrade my ram on first build, and I am wondering if it is a good idea to just add another ram or just buy higher frequency ram?

My PC's specs

AMD Ryzen 3 3200g

MSI B450M Mortar Titanium

Team T-Force Delta 2X4gb 2666mhz

Gigabyte RX 570 4gb

Got a ryzen 3 2200g system myself with an rx480. Go for the 16gb. shouldnt be a big diffrence between the speed. But between only 8gb ram and 16gb ram u most likley will get better fps with the 16gb, as newer games need more ram, rather than faster ram.

EDIT: should note that ive been in that situation myself. Previously got 8gb 3200mhz ram but later upgraded to 16gb 3000mhz ram. While it isnt really a big diffrence in speeds, i got more fps mostly by the fact that the games got more than 6gb to use. U might also be able to overclock the ram a bit, if u arent satesfied with the 2666mhz.
