Single Core overheating?

I'm inexperienced in most of this so I'd appreciate some help with this issue. I have an 8086K showing 104° on core 4 while the rest vary between 22-32°. When i assembled i used a pea sized dollop of Arctic MX-4 thermal compound and I'm using a thermaltake 360mm AIO liquid cooling system. I didn't lap or delid the 8086K either. I'm using Hardware Monitor to get my readings and have included a screen shot. Any advise is appreciated!

That sensor's jusr bad, you cant get such a big temperature difference between cores anyway even if you delibrately try. Silicon conducts heat alright.

 

and HWmonitor has no place when HWinfo is available for free

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

The sensor in the CPU. The board couldn't possibly measure core temps.

As stated, hwmonitor sucks.

 

Use hwinfo64 and see if the problem persists.
