Really don't need a 2070 super for that resolution, the RX 5700 has 80-90% the same performance depending on overclocking or flashing it.

For some reason memory pricing is high in canada for 3600mhz CL16 RAM, don't really need 32GBs of RAM, and it's harder to run that at higher frequencies, though 3200mhz CL16 16GB * 2 kits shouldn't be too expensive.

Just threw together a best value list basically. You can spend more money, but for strictly gaming the performance gains won't be too high.

Also don't cheap out on your power supply.

You can also just get an MSI B450 board, the VRM will be fine for even the 8 core, just need to add in a wifi card.

Im building a PC and was planning on using these parts.  Was wondering if anything here could be changed to lower the cost or changed to help with performance, but mostly i was wondering if i need to buy a CPU cooler for the build instead of the one that comes with the processor.  ALSO, PCPartPicker.com says a B450 AORUS Motherboard is not compatible with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, but was wondering if thats incorrect.

Build List:

-AMD Ryzen 5 3600

-Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard

-G. Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory

-Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" SSD

-Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card

-Corsair CXM 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

What is your budget/country and what do you need the PC for?

What monitor resolution/refresh rate?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

ok thank you!!  I also had my eye on a $169 CDN motherboard.  here's the boards full title:  B450 AORUS PRO WIFI w/DDR4-2933, 7.1 Audio, Dual M.2, Gigabit LAN, 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, Cross Fire on Memory Express.  Would this be a good choice of motherboard?  I strictly want my motherboard to have bluetooth capabilities.

Only the MSI B450 boards have USB bios flashing to update the bios for Ryzen 3000, the MSI MAX boards come with the Ryzen 3000 bios.

and the VRM isn't too great on the B450 Aorus boards despite the looks.

Why would you spent that much on a motherboard in a R5 3600 build? you can get very good mobos for around 110 bucks and could invest the other $100 in a rx 5700xt or a cpu cooler.

The second quote isn't from me.

and sorry but still $245 is far too much for a mainboard. The mainboard I want to get is like 100€.
