Jumping to a file/item by pressing its starting letter

Go to solution Solved by xbkuba,

I reinstalled the system again and its fine.

No idea what was the problem, both are clean installs so I suppose something went wrong durring the instalation or something.

Hey guys,

you probably all know what I am talking about.

I bought myself a new XPS 13, installed a new windows 10 Pro on it.

Now when I press lets say 'C' in my folder with files, it find and highlights a file starting with 'C'.

Press it again and it selects a second one. But if I press any other letter it does nothing.

I have to click somewhere to "deselect" the file and then I can to it with another letter.

On my PC I can press any letter I want as many times I want and it either finds the next or previous file it.

I know its a stupid problem but I am used to this and its really annoying me.

I tried to search on this but found nothing, hope someone know how to fix this.

Have you use backspace or esc before trying to change letter? You can also wait a little longer before change letter. Fast typing selects next letters with file name.

You reinstalled system because of that? And you marked your own answer as best? I think best answer would be when someone give real solution for a problem.
