CRG9 HDR reproduction issues

Does anyone else have issues with CRG9 and playing HDR content?

 

HDR works great with youtube in chrome, and it seems to work in games (AC Odyssey, it doesn't look quite right, but that might be due to the game implementation), however, I can't get MPC-HC (with madVR) to play HDR content properly. It looks the same as it does when I try to play it on an SDR monitor.

 

Samsung didn't release any info regarding potential firmware bugs, and there are quite a few people on reddit complaining about similar issues.

 

Does anyone here have this monitor? Can you play HDR video in MPC or any other player?
