How to use compact.exe for game folders?

Dongwook23

Now, I know what you guys are going to say, but here me out. I'm running real low on storage and this damn game is 75GB. I wanna delete it but I play it too often. So can anyone tell me how to use compact.exe for game files? If it is not possible, can anyone tell me an alternative?

If you want to compress folder where game is, select folder, rightclick, select 'Properties'. Click on 'Advanced'.

There is option 'Compress contents to save space'. Click on it.. and let it compress.

However, quite often game contents are already compressed, so you will often not gain any free space doing this.

Buy another drive. You can get a 1tb for like $50 and you can probably get a used 250-500gb for less than $20.

Quote me to see my reply!
